The Occasional Chefs are proud to offer professional chef services in south Florida. A full-service “IN-HOME” Personal Chef Company for all of your entertainment & vacationing needs, they will make your life “deliciously” easier! This dynamic family team provides creative menu planning, in-home gourmet cooking, professional wait staff services, party rental arrangements, a la carte orders, cooking classes and more. All three chefs are fully insured, food-safe certified, and corporate members of USPCA.
Need a caterer? Are you a local resident wishing to host a special event? Or perhaps you’re planning a trip to beautiful south Florida for a relaxing vacation or business retreat. Would you like someone to take care of your shopping and culinary needs? Call The Occasional Chefs for a well-deserved respite from tedious kitchen duties! They can shop & prepare gourmet breakfasts, brunches & lunches; provide delicious appetizers for cocktail hour; and serve fabulous BBQs, casual buffets, or elegant sit-down dinners. Upon request, they will stock your vacation villa with groceries, do ahead brunch casseroles, salads, baked goods, snacks and more. Beach / Boat “to-go” lunches, kids’ menus, adult and kids cooking classes are newly requested additions to their selections.
The Occasional Chefs private cooking classes are fun, entertaining & informative. Why not schedule a fun “hands-on” adult cooking class followed by a delicious gourmet meal? Great for vacationers, small holiday office gatherings, ladies’ luncheons, bridal showers, couples night, birthday parties, etc. Adult classes include chef aprons, recipes, and all necessary ingredients. Kids’ Classes are also available and are especially popular among vacationers. Junior chef hats, aprons and all ingredients are included. Hands-on participation is their motto! These fun classes are for the beginner as well as the more experienced cook. Classes will include professional culinary demonstrations, menu planning & table setting ideas, and basic cooking techniques and secrets of the trade from both chefs, plus hands-on participation in prepping your meal. Each session will also provide a hand-picked variety of take-home recipes and menu suggestions based on the class theme. Your input is very important, and the chefs are happy to customize and focus on your interests and requests. Please share any dietary restrictions / allergies when signing up. Classes are approximately three hours long, ending with a sit-down gourmet meal prepared jointly by class members and chefs. (Feel free to BYOB to enjoy during the meal.)

Thinking of hiring a chef for a vacation or special meal? To schedule services, please call or fill out the reservation form to arrange a complimentary consultation; reserving dates well in advance will ensure availability. Specialty menus may be selected from their extensive “Soup to Nuts” bill of fare, or the chefs will gladly customilize menus if requested. Their A La Carte Fare offers you the opportunity to add more variety to any of their pre-designed menus, or you can create your own menu by selecting favorites from different categories. (Minimum charges may apply). The Occasional Chefs will give you more quality time with family & friends. It’s finally time to enjoy yourself as a guest at your OWN event!
